Nice topic ! I rode from Finland to Sweden to Norway in one day last August. +500 miles (800km) in one day. A wonderful hot day, I could ride in T-shirt...not very usual up here ! But - a lady from southern Finland made the Ironbutt on her Savage two years ago. I saw that on their official website, it's true. Eat your heart out.
Since I love longer trips I have started to think about a more comfortable bike, since my 7 year old son wants to ride with me... Maybe a Honda NTV 650 (named Honda Hawk in USA)with fairing and large bags would be nice. Anybody has any experience ?
